The medical technologist

Posted by Emerald @ 3:45 pm

Probably one of the more thankless jobs in the medical industry is that of the medical technologist. People in medical technology deal with handling and performing the various tests that doctors order so that they can make a more accurate assessment of a patient’s health.
Medical technologists work at the background, handling hundreds, if not thousands of specimens for testing. It’s a tedious job that demands a high degree of accuracy. We don’t know about or hear about their jobs and only notice their contributions when we see our test results. It’s still one of the more noble medical-related professions out there.
