If you are considering advanced education in the nursing field, you have to understand that not all the nurses are the same. Choosing just one area of specialty may be difficult. First of all, you have to choose a specialty that is based on how you would handle stress. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, working for surgery might be the best for you.

On the contrary, if you prefer to have a more relaxed setting, working as a staff nurse in a hospice might be a better fit. Different people have a different tolerance level for stress. For instance, you may be pressured too much if you become a nurse that will require a lot of technical skill, or maybe you might be bored in a job without much responsibility.
