What to Avoid During Interviews
The following are common interview mistakes as compiled by the New England Human Resource Network.
• Coming to the interview unprepared by not knowing information about the company.
• Do not show enthusiasm by not asking questions.
• Dressing inappropriately by not coming in proper business attire.
• Improper body language like a weak handshake and incorrect body posture.
• Not being punctual by arriving late with invalid reason or being in the interview venue too early.
• Do not have enough resume knowledge meaning what you say does not jibe with what’s written in the resume.
• Being unprofessional like bad mouthing previous company or any of its employees.
